Nancy Kahn-Rosenthal
Senior Project Manager

Degree in interior design from Fashion Institute of Technology. Worked in the commercial interior design industry for over 20 years as a designer. Specifying furniture and finishes for multiple projects. Liaison between client and vendors. Moved over into the furniture dealer world as a Project Manager. Direct contact with the end users as the representative of the dealership. Knowledge of furniture systems and ancillary product to help guide the end user towards the best furniture solutions. Worked with General Contractors for electrical layout for systems furniture and anything with technology. Project Manager for a residential construction firm, writing scopes of work for bids, ability to read construction documents and mechanical drawings. Running multiple projects at the same time from signing of contract to final punch list item. Walk throughs with the various sub-contractors. Ordering of materials, appliances, plumbing fixtures. Creating construction schedules. Weekly site meetings with the architect and client.  Scheduling of the various trades on a project.

 

Nancy is an avid fitness buff, working out 5 – 6 / week. She has run (7) full marathons, (5) of them New York, THE marathon of all marathons. Nancy has two adult daughters, Peyton and Sage, they are a constant source of joy. She is also a lover of live music at smaller venues. Music plays a huge role in her life having grown up in a musical family. If she is not working out she is at a concert.
